To clean an area rug our technicians begin with a pre-vacuuming and pre-treating system to remove all loose particles and gently treat any stains or spills on the rug.
After a thorough rinsing and washing, the technicians will groom the rug and comb the fringe to restore the rug to it's original luster.
The area rug is then set to dry in a special climate controlled drying room before being inspected once again for quality.
The area rug cleaning process we use involve through and comprehensive stages.
First rugs are separated based on being hand made or machine made.
Hand made area rugs generally are more sensitive.
Then we remove as much as possible dust from the rug.
Rugs are then washed with different methods depending on the type, age, color, fastness, thickness.
In brief some methods we use include mostly complete soaking and submersion in water which is the best way to clean, dry cleaning, jet spray and extraction.Fringes are treated separately to prevent damage.
